Commisioned to be ready for the 1984 South Pacific Games this is an example of our  commitment to performance. Time from starting design drawings to completion of construction was 44 weeks. To enhance spectator's views the Grandstand is curved in plan and section, with 20mm being added to the usual sight line formula because of the larger hairstyle of the average spectator.

The Grandstand seats 6,000 and provides changeroom and officials facilities below.
